This conference has something for all levels of Scribe Insight users. Come away after this day and 1/2 of learning, networking and sessions, more knowledgeable about everything Scribe, with all your questions answered and have a new bag of tricks when you return to the office.  Registration is limited to 200 attendees, so act now to reserve your spot and save with the Early Bird special!

The day and a half Scribe User Conference will be held at SERESC, a full service, state-of-the-art conference center. Wi-fi will be available at the conference at no additional cost.  SERESC is located 1 mile from the two recommended hotels and just 2.5 miles from Scribe Software's corporate office.

On Thursday evening Scribe will host drinks, dinner and entertainment at Bedford Village Inn; a Luxury Four Diamond New Hampshire experience and one of New England’s premier old country Inns. Complimentary transportation will be provided to the guests staying at the two preferred hotels.

Transportation: Complimentary Shuttles

For your convenience and to save you the cost of renting a vehicle, we are providing complimentary transportation to and from these two hotels and the SERESC Conference Center both days.  For the Thursday night dinner event, complimentary transportation will also be provided to the guests at these two hotels. Finally, on Friday, transportation will be provided from the conference center or the hotels back to the Manchester Airport.  A shuttle schedule will be provided to all conference attendees prior to the conference.

Transportation from the Manchester Airport to the hotels on September 22 is available directly from the hotels, though you must arrange for this in advance. Transportation from Logan/Boston airport is not available through the hotel shuttles, so please contact Grace Limo at 800-328-4544, Executive Limo at 800-851-1785 or Odyssey Transportation at (603) 965-7175 to arrange for your transportation.

After the Conference: Hike, Golf, Shop or Tour!

After the day and a half of learning, take advantage of the gorgeous fall views in New Hampshire and spend the weekend leaf-peeping, hiking, golfing, shopping (tax-free)… Whether it's indoors or out this will be the perfect time to enjoy New England in the fall. Content Sessions: The charter for the content sessions of the 2010 Scribe User Conference is to provide in-depth user-relevant material. Come prepared to drink from the fire hose of deep Scribe knowledge. Our presenters are tasked with creating relevant and challenging content to keep the most advanced users interested while giving newer users education, direction and ideas.

Scribe Insight – Data IntegrationDesigning and Optimizing Integrations for Performance and Scalability: Scribe’s top technical analyst will provide a detailed overview of the top integration design considerations for improving performance and scalability. This session will cover queue based integration, optimal DTS design and more.

Scribe Insight – Data IntegrationTroubleshooting: Presented by Scribe Support Specialists, this session will outline the proper paths to take when migrations and integrations are not working as expected. Items covered will include security, interpretation of trace files, registry settings and impact, and a case study or two illustrating troubleshooting techniques. Learn how Scribe support diagnoses and fixes the most complex integration challenges.

Scribe Insight – Data IntegrationFeature Highlights including underused features and multi-target: Our contact with customers and partners confirms that the average Scribe user taps into only a fraction of the current feature set of the Scribe workbench and console. And with new features in Insight 7, including the highly flexible multi-target capability, you will learn how to get the most out of Scribe.

Scribe Insight – Data IntegrationEnterprise level integration: This session will be presented by John Annakin, Major Accounts Manager, along with Jim Clarke, co-founder of Scribe, and it’s important to understand is that “enterprise” is not necessarily about the user size of the deployment or the employee size of the company using Scribe, it’s about the size of the need that Scribe is being utilized to address. They will discuss how Scribe can be used to address data driven needs that many customers and partners don’t even think about. They’ll also walk you through some real-world applications of Scribe being used in big ways that may translate in your own environments.

Scribe Insight – Data IntegrationScribe Technology Roadmap: In this session, Vice President of Engineering Bob Sturim and Director of Product Management Betsy Bilhorn will present Scribe roadmap for upcoming product releases. Learn about upcoming releases of Scribe Insight and Adapters. This session will also present Scribe’s upcoming product plans for providing a cloud-based integration service offering. Bob and Betsy will also discuss Scribe’s new product management process and opportunities for Scribe partners and customers to influence future product direction.

Scribe Insight – Data IntegrationPartner Case Studies: Peter Chase, Founder and EVP will have the enviable responsibility of moderating a panel discussion at the upcoming Scribe User Group Conference. Join him and three of the most experienced and creative Scribe Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) in the community - Correna Sergent of Tribridge, Jason Griffith of Aspect Software, and Pierre Hulsebus of EHTC - as we kick off the second day of the event. Scribe Insight – Data IntegrationWeb Services + SharePoint: In this session, Scribe Product Manager Tom O’Brien and Senior Developer Robert Schroeder will be outlining integration in to SharePoint using the Scribe Web Services Adapter. This session will encompass connecting to SharePoint web services and tips & tricks around leveraging those web services to create content in and retrieve content from Windows SharePoint Services.

Scribe Insight – Data IntegrationScribe Adapter for AX: Deep Dive on the Scribe Adapter for Microsoft Dynamics AX: In this session, Scribe Architect Eddie Cole will take the audience through a guided tour of the bowels of Scribe’s AX adapter. Learn about upcoming releases of Scribe Insight and Adapters. This session will focus on the technology we use to communicate with AX, the AX specific details that you need to know to get our AX adapter properly configured and running and also how to make the most of the adapter by extending it to call custom AX code that you develop.

Scribe Insight – Data IntegrationScribe Adapter for Dynamics NAV: Tips, Tricks and Traps around the Scribe NAV Adapter: When using application adapters, it is vital to understand the underlying business logic as well as the characteristics and limitations of the connected business solution, especially as it so easy to get connected using the Scribe adapter technology. Experience in the field has shown Microsoft Dynamics NAV to be an application where users need particular in-depth knowledge about the techniques used, and the problems that can arise using them. This session provides insight about how to deal with or avoid the most common issues, and how to decide whether a problem that emerges in Scribe does actually originate there or rather in Dynamics NAV. It will also touch on common customizations using the Scribe Adapter for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and the template.

Scribe Insight – Data IntegrationScribe Adapter for Dynamics GP: In this session, Scribe Product Manager, Tom O’Brien, and Template Development Lead, Michael Bates, will be reviewing the Scribe Microsoft Dynamics GP Adapter. This session will describe how you leverage customizations in Microsoft Dynamics GP, how you can leverage the new GP Adapter Publisher for responding to changes and Tips & Tricks around troubleshooting Microsoft Dynamics GP integrations. With this real-time interaction with the product, we will be able to react to questions and scenarios that you bring with you - so please do come prepared with any specific questions or real-world use cases.

Scribe Insight – Data IntegrationScribe Adapter for Dynamics CRM: Tips and Tricks for working with the Scribe Adapter for Dynamics CRM - In this session, Template Engineer Michael Bates and Director of Training Mark Walker will present some Adapter for Dynamics CRM and Dynamics CRM features that are overlooked, misunderstood, or undocumented. Through discussion, demonstration, and use case scenarios, you will learn some tips and tricks that only some Scribe insiders and more experienced consultants know. We will also discuss the roadmap for the next version of the adapter, which will support Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011.

Scribe Insight – Data IntegrationScribe Adapter for Salesforce.com: In our session covering the Scribe Adapter for Salesforce, we will be discussing the detail of available features that are sometimes overlooked within our adapter. Features that can be very performance strategic when designing a migration project to populate your Salesforce deployment. Features that will allow your integration processes to run more efficiently, in near real-time, and at the same time minimizing your API hit count against the Force.com web service. Topics that we will be discussing as well as demonstration use cases will include – adapter support for multi-record “Upsert” operations, data compression and multi-record operations, and publishing SFDC net-change events using Outbound Messaging.

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Due to payment agreements with our conference vendors, written cancellation requests must be received on or before Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Cancellations made on or before September 1 will be subject to a full refund of payment, minus a $100.00 cancellation fee. No refunds will be made after September 1, 2010.
